FAQs

  • Where are Conn Family Farm eggs produced?
Conn Family Farm eggs are produced on a small, 11-acre, family farm in Leslie, Michigan and distributed to only individual customers rather than big-boxed stores.
  • What is Conn Family Farms product availability?
Eggs are available year round. Meat chickens are available in June and September, with limited quantities. We may increase the availability in the upcoming years, but we are starting off small.
  • What is special about the feed consumed by the hens producing Conn Family Farm Eggs?
  • How are egg sizes determined?
Size tells you the minimum required net weight per dozen eggs. It does not refer to the dimensions of an egg or how big it looks. While some eggs in the carton may look slightly larger or smaller than the rest, it is the total weight of the dozen eggs that matters. The minimum weights per dozen are as follows: Jumbo, 30 ounces Extra Large, 27 ounces Large, 24 ounces Medium, 21 ounces Small, 18 ounces Peewee, 15 ounces
  • What do I do if I am not satisfied with my Conn Family Farms product?
Any complaints regarding appearance, quality, taste, or any other abnormality should be reported to Conn Family Farms as soon as possible using our business number (517-927-1874) or by email (ConnFamilyFarmsLLC@gmail.com).
  • Are your birds raised in a humane way?
Absolutely! We do not believe in small cages or overcrowding. All of our birds are given access to the outside from dawn until dusk, they always have water and food, and they have ample sleeping space at night. Their coops are both spot cleaned and deep cleaned often. We also provide more than the recommended space per bird in our coop, as well as provide double the amount of nesting boxes. We would rather have extra space and spoiled hens than treat them unfairly.
