1st Generation Family-Owned Business
Conn Family Farms began in March of 2019 when we decided to build a chicken coop on a whim and buy 15 chickens. After realizing how much better tasting farm-fresh chicken eggs were and how much our friends and family also loved them, we built another, larger coop and bought even more chickens! We decided to turn the old chicken coop into a place for ducks since we heard duck eggs were so much better to bake with.
Since we have been enjoying all of our feathered friends and their offerings, we have decided to expand our business further by offering chickens for meat in 2021. We are excited to keep our customers happy and will always remain a small, family-owned company.

Welcome to Conn Family Farms!
We are a family-owned and operated farm that does our very best to provide eggs and poultry to our friends, families, and neighbors using humane, safe, and healthy methods for ourselves, and more importantly, our animals. Conn Family Farms is situated on 11 acres in Leslie, Michigan.
Our egg layers are free to roam where they choose from dawn until dusk, weather dependent. On days that are heavy in rain or snow, we restrict them to a large enclosed run for their protection and safety as sometimes they are not the brightest creatures and hide in trees to avoid the weather. We spend an ample time with our birds and they are always excited to see us, except the ducks who like to stick to themselves no matter how hard we try to be their friends.
Our broiler chickens; however, are enclosed in a floorless tractor that has an open area and covered area providing daylight and shelter from the unpredictable weather. They are also moved to new grass every day, making them happier and healthier.
We offer multiple options for customers to get eggs, such as delivery, scheduled and pickup. Soon we are hoping to offer a self-serve option that follows the honor system. We collect eggs twice a day, ensuring they are the freshest our customers will ever eat. Conn Family Farms strives high to fulfill our customer's requests, but egg availability is up to our happy hens. If we are unable to fulfill your request on the day you would like, we will give you a date in which we can fulfill your needs. We strive high for customer satisfaction as our happy hens should make happy customers.
